If upon receipt of the order the buyer is not satisfied with the product, the customer will have a period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order to execute the right of return or exchange. After this period no claim will be accepted.

To exercise the right to return or exchange the purchased product, the customer must request it to The Painter’s Wife by sending an e-mail to hello@painters-wife.com and the following conditions must be met:

  • The product must be in perfect condition and with its corresponding labels, with no signs of having been used.
  • The product must be returned in the same condition in which it was received with its original intact packaging, ticket or invoice.
  • Returns can be made by sending the product by registered mail to the address that will be sent to the buyer by email during the exchange process correspondence from The Painter´s Wife, and we will also attach to the original shipment.
  • The return can be made by registered mail to the address that will be shown in the exchange process. If the buyer decides to return the product by another courier, he/she must inform The Painter’s Wife by sending an email to hello@painters-wife.com with shipping information and tracking number.
  • An exchange can only be made for the same item purchased but in a different size or color.
  • Returns or exchanges for products that are discounted or subject to promotions are not accepted.

In the event that the products do not arrive in perfect condition The Painter’s Wife reserves the right to refuse the return or exchange, or pay a lower amount for your order.

Refunds

If the purchased product has a manufacturing or quality defect, the customer may request its exchange for the same product within 14 calendar days after receipt of the product. In order to carry out the return of the product, the customer must send an email to hello@painters-wife.com explaining the reason for the return. In this case The Painter’s Wife will collect the defective product and send another identical product, provided that it is available in stock, at no additional cost to the customer.
If the customer requests a refund, the entire refund will be paid to the customer within 10 business days of The Painter´s Wife receiving and inspecting the product, providing that the manufacturing or quality of the product is in fact unsatisfactory. The return will be made automatically using the same payment method used for the initial transaction.

For any other reason for return, the buyer must write an email to hello@painters-wife.com within 14 days after its receipt explaining his reasons. In the next 24 hours the buyer will receive an email in which we will provide the necessary information to perform the return process. In this case the shipping costs will be paid by the buyer.

Product exchange

The buyer may request an exchange of size or color of the initially chosen product within 14 calendar days after it is received by the customer. To do so, the buyer should contact The Painter’s Wife by email at hello@painters-wife.com, and we will explain how to proceed.

The conditions for the customers to exercise their right to exchange the size of the garment will be the same as those set out within the first section.

Shipping and collection costs in case of product exchange shall be borne by the buyer. Under no circumstances will we accept freight collect deliveries.
